Thanet Creative runs a weekly event called Tea and Chat. It is a social gathering for all sorts of creatives. Many of whom enjoy writing. If you are looking for a beta reader or two, you may well find a willing partner at Tea and Chat. There are a lot of writer's groups in Thanet. They each have their own focus and approach. It is quite likely that at least one of Thanet's writer's groups will be right for you. Kent Index has a section for writing and poetry groups. You might want to check out Kent Fiction Writers, a project to create closer cooperation between writing groups.
