How do I handle negative feedback?

Negative feedback can be painful. Especially when you have invested heart and soul into your work. 

As a writer, that feedback can still be useful. Strongly negative feedback can tell one or more of three things.

  1. Your story was not right for your reader
  2. Your reader is a touch tactless
  3. The areas the reader did not like might want work
