Is Thanet Creative the same as Thanet _________?
Thanet Creative is so called because of our ties to the district of Thanet.
Many other groups use a similar naming convention. Thanet Road Runners, Thanet Liberal Democrats, South Thanet Labour, Thanet District Council, Thanet Churches Together... All that means is that these groups are proud of the area they work within.
Likewise there are many writer's groups in Thanet. That is a good thing. However, it also means that we may, from time to time, come up with similar names.
As a rule of thumb, if a site, page, or social media profile is part of Thanet Creative, we link to it from this site, our blog, and our social media profiles. If you find something claiming to be us but without our logo, a link, or a mention on our blog, it is probably not us.
