How do I join Thanet Creative?
To ensure that all our members share our aims of supporting and encuredging creativeity and writing in Thanet, the Thanet Creative consitituion requires that new members are endorsed by two existing members or by a current trustee.
We ask all members and prospective members to make an annual donation. To ensure no one is excluded we set the minimum donation at £1. However, the more you can afford to give, the more you enable us to do.
A prospective member can become a full member (with voting rights) by the agreement of the trustees, by the executive action of the chair, or at a general meeting by a vote of the members. On the whole, the waiting time has proven to be exceedingly short.
The best way to find members or trustees willing to sponsor your membership, is to simply show up at out events. You will find that we are an assorted bunch of friendly and enthusiastic writers and artists.
